The Program (The Program, #1) by Suzanne Young

Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great day. I recently finished this book so here’s my review. 🙂

Goodreads Summary: In this dystopian romance, true feelings are forbidden, teen suicide is an epidemic, and the only solution is The Program. Sloane and her friends struggle with depression from which the only release is death or The Program. Every day the teens pretend that they’re not “infected” in order to avoid being seized by The Program. This government-sanctioned treatment returns high schoolers to the community after stripping them of their memories and making them vacant versions of their former selves. But despite everything, it’s getting harder for them to hide the truth. They are growing weaker. Depression is setting in. And The Program is coming for them.

Rating: 10/10 (I’ll have to read the rest of the series to decide if it becomes a favorite😉)

I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK TO DEATH! It had me hooked from the very beginning. ‪It made me laugh, cry, and smile. With plot twists around every corner, it kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened next. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS ON THE SEQUEAL, The Treatment! This book did use profanity and had some sexual content, but not enough to make it awkward or uncomfortable.

Recommend: DEFINITELY, 100%. Especially for lovers of dystopian romance.
