Hi guys! Last week for Fall Break, I attended the Southern Festival of Books, which brings hundreds of authors and book lovers from all across the nation to Nashville, Tennessee! Last year, I was able to go to a few signings during the last few hours of the Saturday date, but this year, I planned to stay the entire day (or at least most of it). SFB was definitely one of the best (well, really only) book festivals I have ever been to! The atmosphere and the authors were so amazing to talk to, and I got many books signed! Although I did not meet as many authors as I did with SE-YA last March, I did have a lot of fun chatting with the ones I did meet. Here are some pictures!
I got SEVEN books signed there (technically eight since I got a signed bookplate from Julie C. Dao and won a copy of Forest of a Thousand Lanterns the next week), and I am super excited to read many of them! They include (from top left to bottom right) The War That Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley, The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima, A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab, Refugee by Alan Gratz, The Serpent King and Goodbye Days by Jeff Zenter, and This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab (who also writes as V. E. Schwab for NA novels).
I also met some amazing authors, all who were super nice and great to talk with!
